I love consuming information, especially as it relates to health, wellness, and the body. Whether it relates to gut health, the brain, sleep, nutrition, toxins, physical fitness, screenings, etc. I absolutely love it!
In addition to searching online medical resources such as PubMed and ScienceDirect to name a few, another way I gather health-related information is through various podcasts. So many have such great information, but can be well over 1, 2, or even 3 hours in length! Oftentimes, I could go without a lot of the extraneous dialogue, and wish they would just "give me the nuggets" of the topic. So I like to sift through some of the "noise" and distill it down to the high-level, key takeaways from them to provide information you need to make informed decisions that may help improve your overall health and well-being.
In today's world of excess information, it's often difficult to find credible and trusted resources that have meaningful data we can work with and incorporate in our daily lives. And while I may not be a medical doctor, I research and glean information from world renowned neuroscientists, epidemiologists, general physicians, chiropractors, naturopaths, functional medicine experts and numerous qualified medical practitioners to provide useful health-related information that's easy to understand and begin incorporating.
What I aim to do is provide you with a handful of what I refer to as "The Basics". These 6 areas are brought up time-and-time again as simple keys to a healthier life and improved odds for longer lifespan, so it's a great place to start your journey!
